You Are Your Own Best Book

I heard this phrase a while ago...

but could not find the author... and I thought if you are, then be sure to make it a best seller!

It also reminded me of the phrase "the great American novel"... which was coined by the author William DeFrost in 1868. In his essay "The Great American Novel" he defined the concept as the" ordinary emotions and manners of American existence". That is all to say many who aspired to write a novel often referred to this phrase when they intended to do so!

What comes to my mind is that if indeed one is to write about their life, could it be or would it be a best-seller full of adventure, travel, accomplishments, the list goes on and on.

Think about it - living your life to its fullest could very well make it worthy of something someone would want to read about.

And more importantly, make it one that you would want to read!
