Communication… It can get complicated!
there is a lot to say about communicating, but we can break it down just for now.
Communication is a transfer of information... words... from one person or persons to another.
The words are passed on from one to the other, and then they take on meaning.
For instance, one person may say to another
"Let's get together!" What does that mean?
It means one person wants to see the other person, but that communication can be taken one step further… Or it remains in limbo.
We don't know when, where, how...The fact is we want to be more effective and that sometimes means more effort, commitment, and determination.. this can also apply to social media!
Some random tools that are handy in navigating in the communication arena - truth, clarity, directness, listening and confirming, and agreeing to disagree.
Above all, avoid confusion and problems.
because they will eventually have to be corrected by... what?... communication!
